POEM: MARRY ME MY SWEET GOLDILOCKS

My new writing.....

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
Let me not down upon a single knee
To deface the beauty of this undiamond ring
That has no sparkle to thy flawless eyes

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
And my heart have rest in thy gentle heart
So that when remote I am from home
I know my home is where my heart is

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
And let the sparrows of summer glide
Be mine rainbow upon forthcoming winter
And take my eyes not from thy golden face

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
For it is the love I have longed I find in thee
The kind that makes the moon reflects the sun
And the honey that kept Abraham to Sarah

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
Make my tomorrow shy its sorrows
Permit me to appease my thirst upon thy waters
For thy love makes kings lay down their thrones

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
How doth days without thee assume years?
How doth my sunny day turn into incubuses?
Oh how my heart withers when thou art away

Marry me my sweet Goldilocks
Make my youth splendor as thine golden locks
Awake my mornings to thy nightingale voice
And walk with me on this flowerless water

Marry me sweet Goldilocks
For what is love if we aren’t the affectionate of it?
Butterflies will glide when summer arises
And my lips will seek thine to taste thy secret
